COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT

One of Global Me’s core pillars is to provide every possible opportunity to support and foster our students’ , from early childhood through Elementary School. Music and theater classes, along with activities in our MakerSpace and art studio, are some of the ways we encourage children to explore different ways of thinking and understanding the world. As students grow older, our multimedia and science labs also become important spaces for new discoveries and exploration.

Our reading spaces — including libraries and Book Nooks — also play a fundamental role in this process, as cognitive development is deeply connected to language, writing, and reading. Because our children are encouraged to develop these skills in both English and Portuguese, the benefits are further enhanced. Global Me also offers decompression spaces, including wooded areas and other green spaces, which play an important role in children’s journey of self-discovery and exploration of the world around them.
