SPACES AND LOCATION
São Paulo is an intense, fast-paced city, full of movement and concrete. When Global Me was founded in 2004, its founder, Renata Sá Freire, wanted to create a counterpoint to the city’s accelerated pace. Our school is an oasis in the heart of Jardins: a welcoming space where there is time to slow down and truly listen, where childhood can be experienced without rushing, and where children can play on the ground, run, get messy, observe nature, and connect with the world around them — all while being in the heart of the city.
The school environment at Global Me is a powerful teacher in itself, because it enables connections with nature, provides experiences that enrich learning, and unlocks students’ potential to respond creatively and meaningfully.
Here, children from Early Childhood Education (starting at 6 months) through Elementary School (up to 5th grade) have access to spacious playgrounds surrounded by nature and fruit trees, which they can explore every day, both during free play and through specific learning experiences thoughtfully planned by their teachers.
They also engage with organic gardens, helping to plant and harvest different vegetables that are later used to prepare school meals and snacks.
In addition, we have two heated, covered, ozone-treated swimming pools, a spacious multi-purpose sports court, and several playgrounds thoughtfully designed for each age group.
All these experiences help children recognize their own potential to make a difference and understand from an early age the importance of protecting nature to create a better future for everyone!
